Tuition + Policies
How much do violin lessons cost?
I am currently accepting new violin students for my studio. Students must be at least the age of 3. It is important to me to give all new students a 20 minute free trial lesson before you schedule regular lessons. I do this to get to know you and to see if I am a good fit for you. If you would like to go ahead and schedule regular lessons, that is also acceptable.
20 minute lesson - $15.00
30 minute lesson - $25.00
45 minute lesson - $40.00
60 minute lesson - $45.00
Zoom lessons: If you live in a different city or state, no problem! I am happy to teach you through skype.
My studio is in Columbia, SC.
I accept payments by Check, or PayPal.
Tuition must be paid in full before each lesson. Some parents like to pay two weeks or four weeks lessons at a time. I am willing to work with you for whatever is best for you.
Makeup Lesson Policy
Students must inform me at least 24 hours in advance if they are not going to make it to the lesson. If there is no notice, students are required to pay for the missed lesson and will not be able to receive a makeup lesson.
Christine believes that music is a basic and essential human activity, and the joyful and fulfilling pursuit of creating it ought to be offered to all individuals. She sympathizes with the Suzuki perspective that encourages teaching toddlers and knows that Every Child Can, regardless of circumstance. Christine also supports adults who wish to begin or restart their musical journeys. She derives great joy from working with students coming from a variety of different circumstances and helping all of them to experience the bliss of making beautiful music in an ensemble and individually.
